Cub Scout Day Camp 2012

Day Camp 2012 is Scheduled for June 4th to 8th. Registration will be open soon. Please save the date for all your Cub Scouts. It will be held the same place as last year at Chamblee UMC.

Hightower Trail District Awards Banquet

Hightower Trail Scouters,

We have the Hightower Trail District Awards Banquet coming up on Sunday, February 26 at 6:00 PM at Dunwoody Baptist Church. I encourage each Pack, Troop, Crew and Ship to attend this event and nominate the deserving leaders in your unit for the Trailblazer Award. Committee Chairs and Cubmasters and Scoutmasters - this is a nice opportunity for the unit to treat your leadership team to a nice dinner and evening of Scouting fellowship. Tickets are just $15 each, so why not reserve a full table for 8 for $120? Or go with a half table of 4 for $60. Get your Trailblazer nominees there, and have plenty of your leaders on hand to congratulate them for the award. We have good food and an entertaining speaker lined up for the evening, so come join us!

Wilderness First Aid Training on March 14/15/18

One of the ASMs of Troop 18 has organized a Wilderness First Aid class for folks who can’t make it to the AAC-organized course, and there are still openings.
The course is spread over three days: March 14 & 15 from 5:30pm - 9:30pm and March 18 from 9:00am - 5:00pm.
Cost is $125 total / For every registered adult, a scout can take the course for only $75.
Must be CPR/AED current and minimum 14 years old (if needed, CPR/AED is also offered from 2:00pm-5:00pm on Wednesday March 14 only)
